‘ter zealous Zeus paged dark deities –
worn winds’ wings had borne bruised biddings.
“t arrival they’d eased braced burden,
‘n’ nosy nature had will cloven.

‘nly a numb Nymph had pruned crushed call ;
yore he’d sowed ire ‘n’ rage ‘n her which sprawled.
“t sapid sway “f her felon features;
sight smoth’ring was sh’ b’ – beauty’s fractures.

Anon paged h’ pored pursuivants – winds.
B’ ferocious biddings was he pricked.
Naked were damp deities brought t’ meet.
His rage had them thrown t’ mortal be.

‘n’ numb Nymph retracted h’ sassy spell,
his mistress made h’ her – dainty dell!

Note:
a) I’d created a myth about Zeus and given it to a student, Ogooluwa. But when she developed it, she educated me as she added a fresh scene which inspired this poem. I’m quite the blessed teacher! Blessed with talented students. 😁
